A Week at a Time | 1/6/17

When life gets crazy or exciting or overwhelming or things change, I write. It’s always been this way for me. And so as an extension of this, I am going to have a weekly, “here’s a little bit of life”, post. From working in college ministry to life as a part time nanny. Date nights and soccer games on the weekends. Reading and drinking coffee and squeezing in a run. Just taking a moment to look back at what the week has brought me before plunging into that all so wonderful weekend!


Happy new year everyone! I spent this week on a work trip with the college ministry to Atlanta to attend the Passion Conference at the Georgia Dome. With three days worth of conference, I had a few ups and downs, but overall, it brought some time of reflection and a bit of clarity, and that’s always a good thing! A Week at a Time | 12/30/16

I have enjoyed the lighter workload and the last two weeks and I just don’t want to imagine going back to my normal working hours. I have gotten a few runs in as well as more quality snuggle time with Zoe. I have gotten some much needed blog work done and done some envisioning for the future. 2015 Resolutions: The Reckoning

At the beginning of the year, like a lot of other people, I had a few goals for 2015. Taking a look back at these, some went pretty well, a few I pushed to complete, and a couple, I just forget about. Which I don’t like, but hope to learn from that and move forward into this next year. Above all, looking back, I am grateful for the experiences and the challenges.
