Anything I don’t love. A lot of gifts from high school or $5 movies that I thought I would like and didn’t. Even a few VHS tapes! And I realized… There is one movie in my collection that I have never actually watched! And that’s why we go through this stuff every once in a while!
Ten days in. This weekend we registered and it was a marathon. The sun was out and the weather was amazing the last couple days, so it was hard to be inside too much! But we really balanced it out by eating outside, sleeping plenty of time playing with the Zoe pup, and my soccer game Sunday morning. All the sunshine has me feeling grand and I am sore in the best possible way. It was so nice to have a really productive weekend and a lot of fun to talk more about our future and our vision for our home.
It is an interesting mindset to register while working towards minimalism. In other words, it is hard to reach the amount of items that the professionals suggest we register for. So, chances are, we aren’t going to reach that number. While I know there are some things we would like, that, inevitably, will be stored a fair bit (serving stuff mainly), I know I will be glad we have it. We both want ur home to be very open and welcoming, and I really enjoy having things pretty and homey for guests! So, it’s fun to find the balance and exciting to vision cast for out little home!
If you are just coming across this blog post on this Monday, I invite you to read ore about how I feel about minimal living and also, check out the entire 30 Day Challenge list, and maybe even join me!!
