When life gets crazy or exciting or overwhelming or things change, I write. It’s always been this way for me. And so as an extension of this, I am going to have a weekly, “here’s a little bit of life”, post. From working in college ministry to life as a part time nanny. Date nights and soccer games on the weekends. Reading and drinking coffee and squeezing in a run. Just taking a moment to look back at what the week has brought me before plunging into that all so wonderful weekend!
Hello Fall! While it sure doesn’t feel like Fall in Texas just yet, in my brain, October is officially the start of the season. While I say I am ready to chilies temps, I know I am going to be wishing for sunshine as soon as it get’s here. It’s easy to want it when I am nice and warm, but it would seem that I am chronically cold, and so, it’s a love/hate relationships I have with the cooler months/seasons.
Eats
Enjoyed National Taco Day as any good Texas should. Tacos and plenty of chips and quest with the roommate to celebrate the day (as though one needs a resonate eat tacos)!
Looks
Have any of you distressed and/or intentionally ripped your own jeans? Being a tall person, it is not the easiest thing in the world to find jeans with the knee holes where they should be. So I am going to do it myself! We’ll have to see how it goes. Looked up plenty of my favorite fashion bloggers for inspiration. *Sorry for the blurry pics, they were all phone screenshots from my research.
Coffee
I’ve been enjoying my cinnamon latte from my favorite Jupiter House Coffee barista this week. She knows just how to make it! Not too much syrup and just enough cinnamon.
Words
Don’t watch and wish, work and pray.
Spending tomorrow trying on bridesmaid dresses and overall enjoying the weekend. Hoping to break in the back yard fire pit for the Fall season!
