Fort Worth Botanical Gardens

Disclaimer: prepare for flower overload! As someone who loves flowers and being outside I don’t know why it took me this long to go the one of two botanical gardens in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The Fort Worth botanical gardens are beautiful and everyone who works there is so friendly and really help to create a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. I wish I lived close enough to justify getting pass and stopping in and for a walk through the gardens or to sit and read a good book on the lawn. Also, what a great place to bring people when they come to visit!

Y’all, the kids garden is amazing. Whether you’re visiting with little ones or not, it is absolutely worth the extra few dollars to go check it out. You can walk under a water fall and learn hands on how rain forms rivers and play with water guns to learn about water energy. And if you do have kids with you, they can play ’til their hearts content in the water fountains.
