Florida, You Sunshine State, You

Time spent at the beach is time well spent. Watching the sun rise and set on white sand beaches was a treat. Eating some of the most delicious food poolside was a highlight. Taking long afternoon bike rides was invigorating. Reading on the beach until it got too dark was an escape. Having recently picked up another job, I was not sure until the last minute if I would be able to make it on the trip, but I am so very glad I did. It was exactly the break I have been needing with no agenda, plenty of time to read and lots of fresh, yummy, home-cooked meals. image

Processed with VSCOcam with c1 preset Y’all have got to check out Destin Snorkel on your next trip to Destin. So many genuinely nice people who really enjoy what they do. They created a laid back atmosphere and supplied us with all the needed information for a fun morning. Great people and great fun!

Solitude and sunrise is the perfect start to a day.

Beach read: Travels with Myself and Another by Martha Gellhorn. Fantastic book! That is if you enjoy travel and humor and stories of (mis)adventure.
