The time I spent in New York City was full of wandering. We made plans a day at a time, and enjoyed not having a rigid agenda. Most days started with breakfast at a coffee shop in West Village, a Subway ride down to Manhattan, and then lots of walking, shopping and exploring the city that never sleeps!
Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses, yearning to breath free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,
Send these, the homeless, tempest tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.
