Nashville Tennessee holds a special little place in my heart, and it has nothing to do with Nashville. Memories of enjoying delicious desserts and time spent praying over the city. Serving alongside new friends at soup kitchens and having conversations with strangers. Playing countless card games and discovering local coffee shops (and hearing, for the first time, what is now one of my favorite music artists). Lots of learning and lots of laughter and treasured new friendships. These are a few of my memories from Nashville. I love that you never know what you are going to find around the next street corner. The mix of artistry and history will keep you busy for as long as you want to stick around. This particular visit last summer was a brief stop while en route to North Carolina, and only lasted for the afternoon. It was sweet to think over times past and wander through downtown and be reminded all over again of just how much I love being in this city.
Jeni’s Spendid Ice Cream is one of the best. Definitely worth a stop next time you’re in Nashville.
