Last summer I lived in North Carolina. I worked on leadership staff at a summer camp on the coast. I took day trips and week trips. I explored so much history. I took countless pictures. I met lovely people. I set travel goals for myself (and achieved them!). And while there are always going to be things you miss, as I look back, I couldn’t have asked for a better 3 months. It was a sweet summer away from life as I’d known it, and I was left with even more restlessness to roam than I had before, and I didn’t think that was possible.
I am excited to share my pictures and experiences with you! Every Monday, I will post about my NC Summer. Here is a little preview of what’s to come in the weeks ahead. Enjoy!
Learning to enjoy the journey amidst the beauty and history of Tennessee.
Final stop: Atlantic Ocean.
Mountains, estates, history and coffee. Asheville, you hold a piece of my heart.
Travel Goal: Washington D.C. for the Fourth of July. Check.
Cruising islands and riding ferry’s.
See you Monday!
